Anyone who knows anything about me, knows that I love Gran Turismo!
And even though the release date for the latest rendition of the highest quality, and most beloved racing game series ever created, has been pushed back till the end of the year, I can honestly say that I’m glad… and I’ll tell you why.
The creator of Gran Turismo is a perfectionist, and he always has been since the beginning. I’ve been playing Gran Turismo games since the very first game was released back in 1997. Yep, that’s right… I’m an old fucker.
Granted, I was just a kid mind you, but a lucky kid indeed. My very first girlfriend bought me the dual shock controller when it first debuted, which was essentially a must have when playing Gran Turismo.
One would even go so far as to say that the dual shock controller was created specifically for Gran Turismo. Oh, to actually feel the acceleration, the bumps in the road, and the vibration from some hard braking was totally awe-inspiring.
So, back to my point. If we have to wait a little longer for a masterpiece, as opposed to a rushed to market piece of crap like so many other game companies and developers are doing these days… then I’m all in for the delay.
Anywho, enough reminiscing, the point of this blog post was to let everyone know, that I will be making my Twitch stream the headquarters for all things Gran Turismo Sport, as soon as that bad boy comes out.
I’m talking full-blown racing competitions, with actual prizes for top racers. Tons of Gran Turismo related giveaways, actual real-life trophies, and so much more!
Oh, and depending on how the game is setup, hopefully completely server based, to prevent mass cheating like in Gran Turismo 5, with that stupid duplication car hack, I’ll even be giving away in game cars as well… how cool would that be?
Well, in conclusion, I am so fucking excited! I can’t wait to finally be able to play, compete, drive, and customize with you. Until then, I will try my best to keep you in the loop as to what is going on with Gran Turismo Sport.
